”A lawyer’s time and advice are his stock in trade.”
Abraham Lincoln
My fee is based on an hourly rate of EUR 330.00 net. Billing is per quarter of an hour commenced.
If desired, a fee according to the Lawyers’ Fees Act (Rechtsanwaltstarifgesetz – RATG) as well as the General Fee Criteria (Allgemeinen Honorarkriterien – AHK) can be agreed upon, which can be viewed in the Legal Information System of the Federal Chancellery.
For special business cases such as the formation of a limited liability company (GmbH) or the handling of a real estate purchase, flat rates can also be agreed upon depending on the individual case.
I will be happy to provide you with initial legal advice. However, quality has its price. EUR 180.00 incl. 20% VAT will be charged for the first legal consultation. I kindly ask you to bring this amount in cash. I will then be happy to make an enquiry with your legal expenses insurance company to see whether they will cover the costs and reimburse you.
A legal dispute can cause considerable costs. For this reason, it is always important to check whether coverage is provided by any existing legal expenses insurance. I cooperate with all Austrian and European legal expenses insurances.
I will be happy to check whether legal expenses insurance coverage is available free of charge.
Please note that even if your legal expenses insurance provides cover, it will not cover all costs. The difference between the costs covered by your insurance and the invoice must therefore be borne by you.
In the event that you do not have legal expenses insurance or it refuses coverage, I will ask you for a fee account. As a rule, this account will cover the costs of bringing an action, the preparatory pleading and the first preparatory hearing.
The amount of the account cannot be quantified here. If it is necessary to set up an account, I will break everything down separately and present it in a comprehensible manner.
Please note that when you make an appointment, you are booking a service. A cancellation at short notice (less than 24 hours before the agreed appointment) must be invoiced and charged with EUR 150.00 plus 20% VAT, total EUR 180.00.
